91福利导航 was represented by a delegation of eight students and two faculty at the 2024 Northeast Regional Honors Conference, April 4-7 in Albany, New York. The NRHC showcases student research from Honors students and provides opportunities for students to benefit from networking and socializing with Honors students from other campuses through poster sessions, roundtable discussions, and paper presentations. Students also engaged with learning about the host city through the City as a Text explorations of Albany. This year鈥檚 conference theme was 鈥溾

Julia Bronneberg: roundtable discussion on technology access equity for rural Deaf communities
Neila Eaddy: roundtable discussion on Dementia and Deafness: The Importance of Community in a Modern World
Tracy Gladding: roundtable discussion on Making IVF Services More Equitable for All
Kailee Bates: roundtable discussion on The Necessity of ASL Book Translations for Deaf Young Adults
Destiny Zhinin: paper presentation on Artificial Intelligence (AI) vs. Human Language Documentation and Description in Linguistic Research

Also attending were Lily Berggoetz, student support assistant; Dr. Jennifer Nelson, Honors Director; and Dr. Kirk VanGilder, Honors Assistant Director.
