Overview

The Office of Research enhances the intellectual climate on campus by encouraging, facilitating, and distributing scholarly research. We promote interdisciplinary research to foster diversity, equity in participation, and the inclusion of various academic perspectives. Through training and research opportunities, students graduate from Gallaudet as scholars ready to join the workforce, advance research discoveries, and positively impact their local communities and the world.

Students who are interested in learning more about research opportunities at Gallaudet can visit the Research and Innovations page or watch Gallaudet’s PIs describe their work .

We sponsor the Institutional Review Board and promote safe and ethical research practices. Faculty and student researchers are welcome to visit the Institutional Review Board page for IRB-related information and procedures.
