91¸£Àûµ¼º½ alumni are constantly on the move! Here is a sampling of recent alumni accomplishments.
Shayna Unger, ’14 & G-’17; and Scott Lehmann, ’12 & G-’15, reached the summit of Denali, the highest mountain peak in North America, in mid-June. They are believed to be the first deaf-led climbing team to scale the 20,310-foot (6,190 meters) peak, located within Denali National Park and Preserve in Alaska. Shayna’s brother, Chad Unger, documented their journey.
Alumnae Emelia Beldon, ’21; Bridget Berrigan, ’20; and Isabelle Troup, ’20, left June 19 on a bicycle trip across the United States. They are raising funds for , a non-governmental organization founded by Angela Marie Nardolillo, ’02.
Jessica Nortey, ’16, a payroll accountant in the Finance Office, has published her first book, The Ashanti Prince Who Couldn’t Hear.
