Youth Esports Series (YES)

Youth Esports Series (YES), proudly presented by Gallaudet Esports and Youth Programs, is an online competition designed for deaf and hard of hearing gamers in middle & high school.

We are bringing the thrill of competitive gaming to you! Our mission is to seamlessly translate the competitive spirit found in traditional sports between schools into the realm of Esports, all at no cost to participants. Join us at YES for an unparalleled gaming experience that transcends boundaries and champions inclusivity.

Yes – you can do both! Some games allow you to play individually and some will require a team.

Contact your school’s Esports coach or advisor to see how you can join! If your school does not have one, contact us how you can establish a team. Some of our games can be played individually.

No, you can play from anywhere, whether it’s at home or at school!

Some days, you’ll see that we have more than one game title being played on the same night. You won’t be able to play both titles, but you will be able to play as many nights as you want.

No – there are no costs to participate. This is a virtual competition. However, do ensure that you have the necessary gaming equipment to play!

Our gaming competitions are hosted on Leaguespot, a gaming platform we use to host our competition. With Leaguespot, we bring the excitement of our competitions directly to you in a virtual environment.

The possibilities are endless. Rocket League, Fortnite, Super Smash Bros, NBA2k, & Madden, EA FC 24 are available in our season and many more will be available during special community events!
